Derek Brown joined Eisenberg Law Offices, S.C. as an attorney in September 2019. Prior, to joining ELO, Derek spent one year as a staff attorney for four Dane County Circuit Court judges.
Derek’s practice is focused primarily on Criminal Defense and restraining order cases. He has experience working with a variety of different felony and misdemeanor cases including OWI, domestic violence, drug offenses, and sexual assault. Derek prides himself on his attention to detail, open client communication, and relentless pursuit of the best outcome for his clients.
Derek graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2018. During his time at UW, Derek had the opportunity to work for the Wisconsin Innocence Project and as a legislative aide for Representative Terese Berceau. Derek earned his B.S. in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 and received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. During his time at UWO, Derek worked as a teaching assistant, a research assistant, and a tutor.
When not working, Derek enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, and staying active.
